Pokemon Cafe - Live~!

Hey guys, not much of an update ^^;; Sorry for my lack of activity, and I take full responsibility for it this time! (not that I have a ton of active readers anyway, but still...)

Anyways, for those of you with the Japanese version of the Black and White games (and in retrospect, access to the Japanese Global Link), a new goodie is here for you~! The Pokemon Cafe is open and live for JGL users~!

For anyone who doesn't know yet, the cafe is somewhat of a new game/minigame in the Global Link and Dream World, and allows you to gain brand new items (such as the 3 original base Evolution Stones and Rare Candies), and a few new Pokemon! :3

These Pokemon are 4 in number~ First there is Poliwhirl! Now realize that Poliwhirl evolves into 2 Pokemon, one of which is now a highly overused Rain Dance team Pokemon, for its hidden ability: Drizzle!! Yup! Kyogre's very own ability is in Politoed!

Next is a Burmy (nice choice of multi-Evo's there). I'm not sure how useful his Dream-version evolutions are now, but who knows what they can do~?

Third we have Smeargle, with his Moody ability~ If I remember correctly, that raises a random stat and lowers another random stat per turn~ Not the best ability, but works better than Own Tempo, I'm sure ^^"

Finally there is... (you'll love this~) *drumroll* Eevee~! That means Female Eevees~! That means we can breed Dream Ability Eevees and get all the Eeveelutions~! Heh.... Kinda makes that Eeveelution event a bit pointless now, doesn't it? o3o"

Now the catch:
This event will only be here for a few months, wherever it gets released! At least, it seems so... I believe the Japanese one will be down around August of this year or so? So get there while you can~! :3

Update w/ Apologies

Big News!

Hey, guys! Sorry I'm late again, I got distracted with some "personal projects" of mine, so I haven't had much time to write. Anyway, I got some time (and memory) so now I can bring you some news! I know most of you probably either already know this, or don't even read the blog much to keep up with events, but this is a big one for some people!

Well, if you've been watching me or Serebii at all, and keeping up with Pokemon data, well, you may like what's happening soon! :3 For those of you who went onto the Pokemon Main Site and played the minigame for the Dream World Eeveelution, you're in luck now!

The event for the Eeveelutions has finally come to a halt, so the main site has announced that they will soon be adding in the Pokemon you unlocked into the Dream World! It is currently unknown as to how you finally get it in the PGL, whether by small minigame, or just straight to your Friend Board in your Dream Home, but either way, we will soon have them!! X3

Anyway, please, DO NOTE THIS!! The Eeveelutions are not in the Dream World right now. Nintendo only announced that the event to get them has ended, so they will soon be placing them in the Dream World. Stay tuned here for announcements as well, as I will let you know when you will be able to pick up your respective Pokemon...

First Global Link Event

Eeveelutions

Hallo again, readers! :3

As my next post I decided to be a bit more... informative with it. As some of you may already know of, the new Pokemon Black & White games can connect online to an area called the Dream World, where we can send one of our Pokemon over WiFi, then play with it here on our computers!

Anyway, the Global Link (which is the host site of the Dream World) has not been activated in the US yet, and has been pushed back due to the recent disasters in Japan. Well, the Pokemon GL should be out soon enough, hopefully this month, and Nintendo has released their first GL-related Event for us! If you go onto the Pokemon Trainer's Club website (link below) and login, you get to play a game! It's a simple Brick-Breaker-esque game where you collect dropped orbs. Whichever orbs you collect the most of will determine the Eeveelution you get at the end (ie. more Water Orbs will give Vaporeon, more Psychic Orbs will give Espeon)! At the end, it tells you which Eeveelution you received, and you have the choice to keep that one, or play again for a new one. Caution! You only get to keep one that you choose, so choose wisely! Once you do this, you can later retrieve your new Pokemon, who will be waiting for you in the Dream World!

So, the thing about these special Pokemon is that they have their special Dream World abilities, which are otherwise unobtainable! Some of these are a bit trivial, while others help the Pokemon immensely! So, if you would like to go and play the game, use the link below and login to the Pokemon Trainer's Club. Have fun!
